Are You Kidding Me?
October 6th, 2008Get it? “Kidding me”? There’s a “kid” running around chasing “me”?
It’s been a while since my last post, but that’s because I’ve been busy — and because it’s dangerous to stay in one spot too long. If you recall, I mentioned that the thing in the house was getting bigger and screaming a lot. In the time since, it’s started running around.
And then it started trying to speak to Maya and me. First of all, as you well know by now, I speak English. But this thing just keeps looking at Maya and me and screaming “Meoooooowww”. Dude, what the hell does “Meoooooowww” mean? Sheesh.
It also seems to be learning the human language. It seems like every day it has learned a new word. Recently, it learned Maya’s name. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I suppose I won’t think it’s funny once it learns to say Frida, but right now, it’s pretty hilarious to watch it run after Maya screaming, “Maayyaa! Meoooooowww!!!” C’mon, that’s good times.
Anyway, I’m sure my luck will run out soon. Just tonight, I was laying on the floor upstairs with the camera when I captured the following video:

Really, the video speaks for itself. It’s gone to bed now, and the humans are watching Dancing With the Stars, so, for the moment, I think I’m safe.

At least that thing doesn’t have a plastic collar around it like my “brother” does.
