Last weekend we made a trip to the San Francisco Zoo to celebrate my step-dad’s 60th birthday. We met up with his kids (and their families) along with Liam (Crystal had to work, so she didn’t join us). Carina liked watching the animals – she thought the two playing grizzly bears were very funny. We tried to get her to sit on a bear statue, but she wouldn’t have it. Liam climbed right up though…

Hands down Carina’s favorite part of the zoo was the petting zoo – and not because she was having so much fun petting animals. Sure, she gave a resting goat a little pet and laughed at the chickens, but her favorite thing was the wheelbarrow. She pushed that thing all over.

After the zoo we all went to lunch. It was a fun day!
